A travesty. That's what this anime is. Someone stole an IP an did whatever they wanted with it. The setting, characters, and plot are there, I'm not gonna lie, but they've all been tweaked and skewed to the point that this anime is a far cry from the manga. The character's are not portrayed correctly in the least. The MC in particular is a shadow of himself. He's drawn differently first and foremost and he does not operate the way he does in the manga. They straight up cut the beginning of the story out...

First of all, there was no need for this to be an isekai whatsoever. Throughout the show, you’ll get vague flashback images indicating that the protagonist was an office worker in his past life, and he felt some type of way about it. One could call that ‘subtle storytelling’, but we have a word for that kind of subtle storytelling in English. It’s called uninspired and generic.

They did the same mistake about story-telling timeline as Shikkaku Mon no Saikyou Kenja. Is it coincidence, because both anime originated from Novel with same Author.

JUST BECAUSE THERE ARE LIMITED EPISODE DOESN'T MEAN YOU HAVE TO SKIP FIRST PART OF STORY.

Good Anime will use first 1-3 episodes to let you know about MC. But this anime skip everything and fast forward to the fight scene between MC and 10k Monster invasion. What a poor production.

I suggest to go read Novel or Manga. MC in Manga have character correspond to some hard-working salary man and design looks different from other Isekai MC.

Back in the Manga, Yuuji was someone who seemed cold and rarely showed any emotions. But even though he's like that, he's a character I like because despite being like that, he still cares about other people, and protects things in his own way.

Was gonna give it "Mixed feelings" tag but as I reviewed some of what I wrote before, this is no longer the case as you can see.

I really wanted to see the positives of this anime, as it certainly have positive points like art which is the case with most anime, or music which is pretty decent up till time I realize I don't remember any of it, cool fantasy world which has literally no introduction to the viewer, so apart of it looking nice, as in any generic isekai.

And those I saw as positive aspects of the story.

Just to get this out of the way. I absolutely love trashy isekai power fantasy anime. Definitely a guilty pleasure.

Having said all of that, this particular trashy isekai power fantasy is pretty awful. I haven't read the light novel or manga or whatever it's adapted from, but I'm fairly certain there is an adaptation problem with this one.

I would imagine that this is one of those stories that is told from the main character's point of view and thus you're always in the main character's head, hearing their endless train of thought as they go throughout the story, and therefore you learn everything ...

This is quite mediocre, I would say it is an average isekai, but it's not even that.

You have the standard Isekai tropes with the OP MC, who is somewhat of a self-insert character as the character is fairly bland, uninteresting and has no personality, so what you would then get is decent supporting cast that is far more interesting, and then lifts the quality of the anime, and carries the whole thing.
But for this isekai, that is not the case, he is on his own and travels from place to play, his only companions are his tamed creatures, a wolf and a bunch of slimes, ...

After watching this show in a day I would describe this show as an average isekai anime but a really bad one at most. The character gets isekaied to another world and is pretty much an OP sage. He goes on to defeat many foes such as monsters and dragons. The MC has no character development at all and has no emotions and he doesn't even have a background. This shows that this anime was poorly written and is pretty much a waste of time.

This anime is what you get if you;
give a 12yo that loves Isekai money to make an anime; and this is what you would get.

Story: Random dev gets isekai'd and gets op stats. in a very underwhelming manner.

Good anime are either carried by good plot, or good characters. This has neither. I would not recommend this anime and that's coming from someone who actually enjoys generic isekai anime usually.

Having watched 3 episodes so far, I rate this show as an awful adaptation of the manga. The manga version of this anime is by no means a masterpiece but it can be your guilty pleasure. The manga's story, world building, art and characters are quite enjoyable. I like the comedy aspect of the manga and the personality of the main character (a bit clumsy, kinda lost) works for me.
