I like how you started the money making challenge with 5k from pickpocketing and 1 tile, giving you a score of 5,000, and ended with a score of under 2k 😂

I think you could make a plugin that effectively gives everyone an identical "fake" master clue. Though you couldn't include the wizard fights I guess

Simple maths with the tile moneymaker, if you don't move at all then you unlock 1 tile and your GP is divided by 1 which gives you a score equal to your GP. The moment you unlock a 2nd tile then your score is halved. The best tactic is to just stay in that one spot and pickpocket for the pouches until you run out of time/health - you're guaranteed the best score with a single tile method. The pickpocket is just an example, just find anything where you don't need to unlock more than one tile.

Watching him chase the crab fisher towards scorpia and thinking "does he know?" just as soup crosses the multi line

For GGs, you could just have people at the corresponding solutions to verify, and pick 8 of the Master Clue steps to give them.

I kinda wish they'd add like an ultra rare untradeable loot from barrows that you could attach to an assembler which would enable it to work with bolt racks. That'd be kewl.

You could make custom 'clues' for GG perhaps, if you grabbed some people to act as NPCs at designated locations

For the first one on some worlds ardy knights are truly trapped to one tile. Rob them for 15 minutes. 1 tile used. Big score

An idea for a challenge:
Lets call it the Lazy 10k:
-You have 20 minutes + 5 minutes prep time to gain a collective 10k experience in any skills.
-You may use any methods you want except quests, lamps and experience books.
-You get 100k gold for supplies and equipment to prepare your method
-everytime you recieve an xp drop it is tallied
-At the end the winner is the one who reaches 10k and used the least ammount of exp drops to get there.

That solo mission moment was actually an EVScape moment. I pay attention.

Man, I felt that moment with the clue scroll sliding puzzle. I just did Monkey Madness 1 yesterday (for the first time in like 17 years), and I was determined to solve the glider sliding puzzle without any help. For me, that was probably the longest part of the quest. Took a screenshot, opened it in Microsoft Paint, and spent an hour cutting and pasting so I could make my own reference picture. Super satisfying once I figured it out.

Well done, next time I’ll make the challenge harder and send you to the Wilderness to collect items. ❌
edit: Clearly I can't count either, but I will be waiting for my money

I'd like to see more of this! This is a perfect blend of the creativity from Unusual Money Makers and competition from GG. The 50M stake is good incentive to compete and the mixing of different plug-in mechanics or random tools like number dice makes it super replayable. The last challenge being red clicks only is way more fun than something like getting to Varrock "blind."
Now I want to see the WR progression of all of these challenges and see what kind of crazy routing the OSRS community could come up with. New challenges would be great, but I think even attempting these challenges again with some more planning would be cool too!

The letter challenge is cool, you should do it in the games, cause people will end up with very different load outs and if you select a different goal or multiple goals, it will rely much more heavily on Game knowledge and smart choices with your letters. I'd enjoy watching multiple players different approaches to the challenge.

for the last challenge, you missed Logs (Top of Lumbridge Castle), Bronze Pickaxe (on the battlements, climb up the ladder twice next to Lumbridge Castle Entrance), Spade (upstairs Varrock General Store), Axe in Chicken Coop in Lumbridge. There's probably more :)

Unusual money maker: Mind shields are 30k+ a piece! Should be fast to produce an inventory, when first you get to the workshop!

He got 108,093 gp reduced down to 1,385.
Fun fact, if he'd stopped at 3:06 he'd have had a significantly higher score since he had 5040 cash and 1 tile, so it'd remain 5040. Moving at all is non-viable in this strategy.

Here's what I would've done on each of the challenges:
- Just do what you did but better and faster 🙂

you got SO lucky that it was a 6 step master with NO COORDINATE STEPS!

Had an idea for a GG challenge. "Till death do us part" - starting from a level 3 account, die in the most unique ways (e.g. from pickpocketing a man, a goblin, etc.). Could also make the contestants get creative and cancel out any duplicates between challengers.

I've gotten so used to doing puzzle boxes while mobile locked it's second nature. But I cannot imagine how difficult it would be if I had been using a helper for however long.

I loved Virtoso's challenge, would be interesting to see some GG4 challenges in a similar vein!

For the clue one, you could pull steps from the master clue directory and have volunteers stand with the NPCs to trade players the next clue.
So for the ranging mix, they have to bring the ingredients for it to a volunteer standing somewhere and trade them. Then the volunteer will dm them the next clue on discord or something

You could copy all the steps for a master clue scroll and just have accounts sitting at locations, effectively giving everyone the same set of clues.

My brother and his friends use to pay me with pop, chips and a bar to complete osrs hard clue steps when they first came out. brings back so much ! love this.

For the first challenge you would have had a better score simply never moving. I thought you'd realize afterwards but saying, "I'd only use the tiles going back to the ge" still resulted in a lower score.

My ideas for challenges:
- Tag within a confined area (I.e Falador - use trade to confirm the ‘tag’)
- pest control, two teams, the other team chooses your gear however (put in some limits like they need to spend 300k min, need a weapon etc)
- pest control with 5 people and 1 life with limited setups, maybe based on a prior money making challenge.

I think to normalize the master clue rng you could have them do 3 of them and take the best time. Also, rng is a big part of the pvp challenges anyway, so might not be that much of a worry.

One smaller challenge could be something like "make it through the entire Tree Gnome Village maze from the North West to South East corner as fast as possible (clearly Elkoy is not allowed, world map probably also not allowed)

If you made the clue challenge group based it could be solved a bit faster, and then you could also divide the time by number of steps, so it's average number of steps. So one person has to solve a master clue but 3-4 people can assist in solving it and strategizing for it.
It's still very rng based but could be fun to see multiple people trying to solve the same clue without any help.

The tile money maker, the only viable option is just pickpocketing. I’d suggest giving the player 100 free tiles or something along that line so they can venture out a lit tle bit and try and really risk it as far as let’s say trying to kill zulrah. This would also be nice if they had an hour

You could do some of your favourite challenges from previous GG seasons and see how you stack up against the competitor's results

I'd love to see the master clue in GG, maybe you can get a runelite plugin made that would make a fake master clue in their inventories with all new steps and puzzles they have to solve so they would all have the same clue and it would be new steps none of them have done?

Making saplings is probably your best bet to make the most money in 15 minutes. If you can make 2k profit per sapling you're making 6.75M/hour.

In the lumbridge chicken coop, you could click on the tree stump for an axe. Doesnt appear as a red dot on the map

per the gg master clue idea, i think you could do it as long as the clues sort of exist "outside the game" and are given to the players by you as they complete them. it would take some extra work to facilitate that but i think it would be very fun to watch

You could definitely look up all the master clue scroll steps. Then give all the players the same steps. You could also have a time buffer for looking stuff up in case no one can pass it.

When I played RS3 for a spell I did all the puzzle boxes without a helper. They do let you look at the picture in that game, however

Could've just stood in one palace and pickpocketed the whole time. If they break free? Never move, wait for them to come back, and keep going. And if you're about to die? Wait for the time to run out. That way, even if really inefficient, you'd still end up with 6k points
Or was there a rule against doing that? And where you had to use the GE?

The worst part about doing clues on mobile is doing those puzzle boxes.. seems I always get atleast 2 when I do them on mobile..

I find it really funny that if you had stopped the first challenge at two minutes, you'd have done better on it than what you actually did. Even at one minute, you had a score of 1600 without selling the Chaos runes.

The challenge was to do a clue without plugins, but then you started appreciating the plugin for the wildy obelisk haha! What happened to the no plugin rule. You owe someone 50M!

For the first challenge, if you would've stopped after the paladin moved, you would've made 5x the amount for the challenge lol.

He made 17k on 12 tiles in 5 mins, giving him a score of 4.25k (if he did it for 15 mins). He then made 100k on 78 tiles, giving him a score of 1.8k. shoulda just stayed at the paladins...

the score should be divided by 1/10th of your used tiles imo. the score being directly divided by tiles used makes camping on one tile too great of a strat. for example, you made 5k in a few minutes pickpocketing, and if you just sat there you would have a great score without even selling the runes
perhaps make everyone start at a specific tile
